How To Get More Sales Without More Customers
By Dan Cavalli
An Advanced Sales Technique to get more sales without more customers is to use a sales funnel. So how should your sales funnel be structured?

The idea of using a sales funnel to get more sales without more customers is to introduce progressively bigger, better and more expensive products. Implement a system as your existing subscribers purchase each product to progressively introduce more of your products.

A sample sales funnel [in dollar form] might be structured like this:

1) A free product [the interest getter]

2) A $10 - $17 product [the hook]

3) A $27 - $47 product [the line]

4) A $67 - $97 product [the sinker]

5) A $297 - $497 product [the capture]

For the experts:

6) A $997 product [clean up]

7) A $2995 product [cook]

8) A $5000+ product [eat]

will spend more money with you instead of someone else.

You have to realise here though that if the sales funnel is used to get more sales without more customers, fewer people will buy the more expensive product over time. So be prepared to use this strategy only in the short term if you want to survive in business long term.

I have been asked why not just sell the $5000 product right up front to the person who wants it? The reason is they may not spend that with you until they test what you have is truly of value. Also because it’s easier to convert someone to buy a larger purchase through suggested selling, rather than asking up front where you could lose that sale. As they grow to trust you they will buy more expensive and valuable products.

The bottom line is, to get more sales without more customers, you should use a properly structured sales funnel to create additional value so your subscribers will have the opportunity to buy more from you at higher prices.
